  • Site investigation & geotechnical works
  • Vibro stone piling
  • Construction of 5 new retail units, including structural foundations and base for the inclusion of a totem at the entrance to the units & for an electrical pillar feeder
  • Earthworks & civil engineering works to the surrounding site: 450mm earthworks stripped, 1483m3 excavated & disposed off-site, further 164m3 excavated & disposed off-site for the foundations of retail units
  • 1100m2 of soft landscaping, 585m2 of shrubs, trees, mulching and grass seed mixing
  • Site furniture consisting of Sheffield cycle stands, 44nr stainless steel bollards & 6m covered cycle shelter
  • Electrical works comprising installation of 11new shopfronts to retail units
  • Utility works: Power, water and openreach supply taken to each of the 5 units.
  • 590m of underground & surface drainage, road gullies, 16 precast manholes, 132m3 vol Attenuation System & mechanically fitted hydro-break
  • Removal & making good of existing underground services, hardstanding and road network
  • Demolition works including removing kerbs, fencing, gates, bollards, grubbing up of foundations & breaking up of concrete surfaces & existing bases and tar, all disposed of off-site
  • Street lighting and CCTV installations: 10nr 6m high street lighting columns with associated concrete bases, 165m of ducting
  • Site signage and lighting installations including signage around the site consisting of arrow signs around the retail units and bollards with retro-reflective signs
  • Hard & Soft Landscaping Works: 400m2 of Hydropave Fusion Porous Paving laid in Herringbone pattern with specific make up and impervious membrane, 2065m2 of HRA surfacing to roads & footpaths, over 1500m of kerbing including 7nr pedestrian crossing units, tactile paving & associated dropper kerbing
  • Reconstruction of the external road network
  • Roadworks to the existing Bellsdyke Road network and footway improvement works; construction of a new road layout, new pedestrian road traffic island, right hand turning lane, tying in of drainage to existing network, & associated road markings & signage
  • Traffic management to allow the safe passing of vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Liaison with council to obtain road permit and agree traffic management. Lane closure in place with 2 way traffic management.
